A process for synthesis of novel steroidal isoxazolines

A process for the production of novel steroidal isoxazolines of formula 2 in which X=H, Oac, CI and R=CH=CH-CH3, aryl group such as Ph, Ph-NO2, Ph-CI, Ph-OCH3 a) reflusing 20-oxopregnane of formula 1 in which X=H, Oac, CI with oxime such as herein described in the range of 1:1 to 1:2 by wt in an alcoholic solvent such as herein described in presence of chloramines T in a one-pot reactor at a temperature in the range to 50-80°C for a period of 3-6 hours, to produce 16 a, 17 a -d isoxazoline of the formula 2. b) In the process steroidal isoxazoline is separated by known method and purify by conventiontiohal chromatographic method.
