The system employs indigenous machinery. Modifications have been made to the rice polisher to make it suitable for maize milling and the said modifications are covered by a patent. The ToT involves giving the details of the patent on payment of license fees. The yield of products and co products are comparable to that obtained in large capacity imported machinery. The minimum economic capacity of the plant is 1TPH based on maize input.
