Presently, Iodine Number is being determined using wet chemical analysis in which number of reagents, glasswares, chemical laboratory and analytical chemist is required. The instrument developed by CSIO is based on measurement of change in potential across the sensing and reference electrodes when immersed in a mixture of test reagent and oil. The LCD display is a direct measure of Iodine Number.
