Brief Description

Description :

This is a novel technology in prefabrication. In this technology, reinforced concrete sandwich panels are used. The sandwich panels are made of self compacting concrete skins separated by Expanded polystyrene core. The panels are used for construction of floors, roofs and walls. They are reinforced adequately to carry the desired loads. The joints between the panels have ductile detailing.Suitable for Government of India initiatives like “Housing-for-all” and “Smart Cities”. This technology can be customized to the specific needs and it allows for affordable, stronger and faster mode of mass houses construction. Suitable for constructions in earthquake prone areas and in poor soil conditions. Can be applied for construction of all types of single and multi-storeyed buildings. The major advantage is speed and quality, enabling the usage of the technology for mass and affordable housing.
