Executive Summary : | Face recognition can be the most convenient contact free authentication method for check-in at airports, ticket verification in trains, at security gates or for Aadhaar purposes. Unfortunately, current 2D camera based techniques fail with changes in facial expressions, lighting conditions and make-up of users. 3D face-recognition on the other hand addresses these issues and provides superior classification accuracy. |
