Executive Summary :

Nitrogen-containing heterocycles are significant compounds in organic chemistry due to their potent medicinal properties and biological activities. They are used in pharmaceuticals, high energy materials, and light emitting diodes. Quinazoline derivatives have various therapeutic actions, including antiviral, antitumor, anticancer, antimalarial, anti-inflammatory, antitubercular, anti-HIV, anticonvulsant, and antihypertensive. Synthesis of quinazoline has become a leading field, with various methods developed. Scientists are exploring diversification of nitrogen-containing heterocycles for enhanced biological actions, with N-H functionalization being a significant addition. Isoxazoles, N-heterocycles with five-membered rings, also exhibit numerous biological potentials. The focus is on upgrading synthetic methodologies for quinazoline derivative synthesis and studying their medicinal properties for human benefit.
