Details
Executive Summary : | In this project, it is proposed to set up a hyper resolution land surface model, which has the ability to produce surface and rootzone soil moisture at a farm-scale high resolution (30 meters) and subsequently ingest satellite data in a data assimilation algorithm to simulate soil moisutre fluses at hyper-resolution scales. The project will be impelemented in the Upper Bhima basin, which is a sub-basin of the Krishna River basin. The outcomes of the project are expected to contribute to the aggriculture, hydrology, and climate communities of India. |
