Brief Description
Description : | In this project , state-of-the-art microwave photonics functionalities will be developed. The project will focus to develop functionalities using linear and nonlinear optical techniques. Low-cost and high reliability devices will be built and the reconfiguration will be achieved using computer control. The form factor will be such that these devices can be deployed as payloads. The developed notch filters with image rejection capabilities and central frequencies that can be tuned at extremely fast rates. Furthermore, the notch filters will be reconfigurable from bandpass to bandstop filters. The devices will have large bandwidth tuning, broad tuning range beyond 20 GHz and immunity to electromagnetic interference. |
