Brief Description
Description : | The project aims at the Optical characterization microplastics and their quantification using remote sensing data in coastal and open oceans. It combines laboratory, field, and Earth observation measurements to accomplish this study. The experiments will include the inherent optical properties (absorption, scattering, attenuation, backscattering coefficients and volume scattering function) and apparent optical properties (remote sensing reflectance) of microplastics and other water constituents. |
