Executive Summary :

The work plan includes utilization of Satellite and ground-based measurements for development and implementation of the algorithm at a local scale before moving on to apply the approach using the Earth observation datasets. SMAP, Sentinel 1 and 2 measurements will be used over varying vegetation conditions. All the validation data will also be collected over the study area during the project tenure.
