Executive Summary : | The aim of this research is to study the problems that hinder efficient performance simulation of virtualization-enabled processors, develop solutions, and design a simulation framework for accurate and efficient performance simulation of virtualization-enhanced processors. The outcome is envisaged as a simulation framework that accepts architecture descriptions of virtualization-enabled processors, accepts a program as input and produces accurate results of the performance simulation of the described virtualization-enabled processor executing the program. |
