Details
Executive Summary : | Objective: The project aims at the development of an indigenous technology for armour steel with enhance ballistic performance, which will be extremely useful for Indian Defence. Summary: • The project will produce a technology for the armour plate, which will have better tensile, and toughness. • The material will have lightweight body armour plates, and have capability to absorb energy during projectile and avoid low energy failure mechanisms. • The technology will be tried in Pilot scale after the Lab scale development followed by field trials. The technology can be of strategic importance. |
