Executive Summary : | The study will provide important baseline data to serve as the basis for future interventional studies to reduce the incidence of sepsis. It will also help inform antibiotic selection in neonates in whom sepsis is suspected by providing a systematic analysis of the epidemiology of sepsis, including antimicrobial resistance patterns. Additionally, it will be used to help guide local infection control guidelines. |
