Details
Executive Summary : | This research aims to investigate the scientific mechanism associated with this phenomenon in the non-MPB ferroelectric systems and, in the process, hope to design materials exhibiting large electrostrain without compromising on the weak signal piezoelectric response in Bi-based Pb-free/Pb-based piezoceramics. This contrast with the current design strategy wherein large piezoelectric and large electrostrain is mutually exclusive phenomenon. Also, investigators wish to extend the scope of the investigation by undertaking photocatalytic measurement on the some of the proposed piezoceramics exhibiting low band gap. |
