Executive Summary : | This study aims to develop a general, cell-based model of 2D viral spread in a tissue in which cells are mechano-chemical entities that can deform, move, divide, and die. |
Outcome/Output: | Built a continuum model to understand the spread and control of viral infection in the tissue. A general collation of scaling relation between virus particle dimension and genome size has been obtained and its role explored in viral life history. |
