Executive Summary : | This project aims to use nucleic acid sequence-based amplification (NASBA) for diagnosis of SARS-CoV-2 infections. In this technique, SARS-CoV-2 genomic RNA will be amplified by the sequential action of reverse transcriptase, RNase H and T7 RNA polymerase. |
Outcome/Output: | A simple, one-step diagnostic technique that can be completed in two hours. |
