Executive Summary :

Objective: Decipher the sub-surface geophysical architecture of the Singhbhum craton and contiguous Chotanagpur Gneissic Terrain, magmatic intrusives and intervening mobile belts as well as the geodynamic evolution of the Shillong Plateau. Identifying Space-Time relations of the Basement gneisses, felsic, mafic and ultramafic intrusives and metavolcanic sequences leading to geodynamic models of crust-mantle evolution. Obtaining primary information of major pathways of primary fluid movement associated with different lithological segments and associate structures that control major metallogeny of the region.
