The internship aims to popularise high performance computing (HPC) among the student community in India.

This Summer Internship programme attempts to bring together students from prominent institutions across the country. It allows external and internal students to participate in research projects, undergo mentorship by faculties of NIT Silchar, and thereby leading to close conglomerates and collaborations between respective institutions.

The internship aims to assist students to come out with tangible result such as a conference/journal paper, development of lab experiment, filing of patent, etc. The internship period of work should not be less than 6 weeks including Sundays and Holidays.

The internship aims to provide students an opportunity to interact with the IIT Indore faculty mentors in an online mode. The programme is beneficial for students who are doing their under graduation.

Summer Internship will be organized at the Department of Instrumentation Engineering, MIT Campus, Anna University, Chennai in the areas of Electronics, Instrumentation, Control, and Automation using the facility
available at the Department.
