Description : | A person facing disability below the Elbow needs an artificial support for various physical movements. If a person has lost his hand in any accident but his residue muscles are still active. For that case a prototype has been developed called Myoelectric Arm which consists of gripping fingers, palm, wrist and lower portion of upper limb. The arm working is configured with a dc motor for hand movement. The sensors pick up signals from the stump circuitry and the signal processing helps the opening and closing of the hand. |
