Brief Description
Description : | The project envisages to develop an efficient Orthogonal Time Frequency Space (OTFS)-based modulator and demodulator, which can be used in CCSDS compliant systems. OTFS is a recently proposed modulation technique, which is robust against the Doppler challenges. Various waveform and precoding schemes such as Minimum Mean Square Error (MMSE) and Zero Forcing (ZF) are analyzed with OTFS in this project. Further, enveloped elimination and restoration techniques will be developed to handle the high dynamic range of communication links. Developed techniques will be implemented in MATLAB, followed by FPGA based platform by considering various Doppler and drift in S band. |
