Brief Description

Description :

The proposal aims to study Dissociative Ionization (DI) of molecules of astrophysical interest. particularly the focus will be on the Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAH). The stability of PAHs in the astrophysical medium with ionizing radiation will be probed. The fragment cations formed upon photoioization will be studied to understand the chemistry in the regions hosting these PAHs.
