The invention relates to the manufacture of novel molecular sieve adsorbents for the separation of a gaseous mixture of oxygen, nitrogen and argon. The adsorbent is useful for the separation of oxygen and / or nitrogen from air. More specifically, the invention relates to the manufacture of a molecular sieve adsorbent, which is selective towards nitrogen from its gaseous mixture with oxygen and / or argon and argon from its gaseous mixture with oxygen.
