Executive Summary :

This winter school program explores innovative approaches to collecting and managing geospatial data in smart city development, focusing on sustainability goals. It includes the integration of advanced technologies like IoT sensors, drones, and data analytics to improve smart city planning, resource allocation, infrastructure development, and environmental management. The program covers topics such as introduction to smart cities, data collection techniques, data management and integration, geospatial data analysis and visualization, sustainable smart city planning, real-time monitoring and decision support, future trends in geospatial technology, and practical applications and hands-on projects. The program covers foundational concepts to advanced applications, allowing participants to gain a deep understanding of how advanced geospatial data gathering and management techniques contribute to achieving sustainability in smart city development. The program also includes panel discussions and hands-on projects to showcase completed projects and certificates distribution.
