Executive Summary :

The 21-day summer/winter school on the Inculcation of Spatial Thinking aims to promote geospatial science and technology, policy, solution, capacity building, entrepreneurship, and international cooperation for sustainable socio-economic development. The program focuses on introducing participants to the basics of geospatial science and technology through a hands-on approach using open source software. The program aims to foster a deep understanding of spatial thinking concepts and techniques, enabling participants to harness the power of spatial reasoning in their respective fields. Through interactive lectures, hands-on workshops, and collaborative projects, participants will enhance their ability to analyze, interpret, and communicate spatial information effectively. The program aims to create a network of interdisciplinary collaboration, fostering a community of practice that supports spatial thinking initiatives beyond the summer school. The successful completion of the program will empower stakeholders to contribute meaningfully to sustainable spatial development and problem-solving within their respective domains.
