Executive Summary : | Geospatial technology training is crucial in today's data-driven world, enabling individuals to make meaningful contributions to various fields. The department of Geography at Gauhati University has been organizing such programs for years, and the 21 Days of Winter School in Geospatial Technology aims to provide a comprehensive and intensive learning experience. The program aims to enhance participants' knowledge and skills in using geospatial tools, techniques, and software for applications like mapping, remote sensing, spatial analysis, and data visualization. It also fosters interdisciplinary learning by showcasing the integration of geospatial technology with fields like urban planning, environmental management, agriculture, and disaster management. The program will employ a blend of theoretical lectures, practical workshops, and project-based learning. Upon completion, participants will gain proficiency in geospatial concepts, practical skills, a project portfolio, and a certificate of completion.
