Executive Summary :

The proposed workshop is aimed at disseminating all the knowledge of modern geomatics techniques with state of the art live discussions and e-tutorials on modern geospatial equipment, remote sensing basics and applications, remote sensing data, software packages, UAVs with talk by experts from round the world. Each expert talk and discussion shall be followed by a tutorial session that would impart practical knowledge to the user and budding researchers in the field of Remote Sensing and GIS. Starting right from basic surveying techniques to an overview of development and need of remote sensing with a deep insight into concept and capacity building, this workshop would be first of its kind that aims to guide and train the researchers and users of tomorrow. The workshop shall also have a poster session for UG, PG and PhD scholars where they can show case their research and get the valuable advise from experts. It also aims to bring academia and industry in the field of Remote sensing and GIS, on a common platform.
