Executive Summary : | The project aims to establish a Community Resilient Centre (CRRC) in Challekere Taluk, Chitradurga district, Karnataka, with the primary objectives of improving access to basic needs and amenities in health, sanitation, water, and STEM education. The project will demonstrate a scalable and resource-effective Hub-Spoke model of CRRC infrastructure, creating a distributed Cyber-Physical infrastructure for greater operational efficiency and monitoring. The project will improve access to both online and offline educational facilities, particularly online STEM education and mobile STEM Labs for youth and young adults. The project will also conduct capacity building workshops and skill development training in STI-based areas, creating new opportunities for the rural population. The project will adopt an inclusive approach, focusing on men and women, youth, young adults, and the elderly. The project will also focus on capacity building to build community resilience, with training and awareness programs for capacity building on STEM education, STI-based intervention, and demonstration, dissemination, and deployment of selected technologies. |
