Executive Summary : | The proposal aims to prepare biomass-nanoparticle composites using nanoparticles in purified biomass matrix, study their properties, and use ball milling for proper mixing and size reduction. It also aims to analyze thermal conversion kinetics, auto-ignition temperature, and coordinate the project. The project also focuses on waste and natural resource utilization, addressing the environmental threats of non-judicious use of natural resources like coal. The project aims to convert biomass-biochar-biocoal, improving combustion quality and optimizing oxygen content. The project will deliver the following: increased co-firing capacity, production of biochar and biocoal, stable combustion characteristics, and the identification of the best nanoparticle combination with biomass pellets and landfill leachates. The conversion of biomass to pellet involves selecting and cleaning the biomass, introducing it to a steam explosion for sulfur removal, and preparing nanoparticle composites with landfill leachate. The composite is then dried and dried before being mixed with biomass and coal for co-firing. The pellets are prepared using a single pelletizer, and the torrefaction process is used to analyze the physical and chemical properties of the torrified product. This process ensures minimal emissions of pollutants and improves the efficiency of the pellet production process. |
