Executive Summary : | The project aims to design a state-of-the-art system for identifying and spraying pesticides in Paddy fields, tracking crop health using image processing, and using a cloud-monitored human machine interface for data logging and research activities. The methodology involves identifying premises, purchasing necessary components, and conducting manufacturing under the guidance of principal investigators. Regular training in image processing is required for better results. The proposed system can reduce herbicide usage by nearly 70 liters per acre, avoiding hazardous health impacts. The system also allows detailed tracking of pest, insect, and disease growth. The project aims to increase farmer profits by reducing pest spreading and enhancing livelihoods. Applications include high efficiency, lower costs, and operation safety, reducing pesticide and labor costs. |
