Brief Description
Description : | Space Terrestrial Integrated network (STIN) comprises of a space-based backbone network, a space-based access network, and a terrestrial backbone network to provide services for all types of space-based users, aviation-based users, marine-based users, and landbased users. It provides a framework to communicate with the satellite network. The project aims to develop an efficient and effective group key management solution in STIN. The limiting factors such as dynamic users with mobility rate for the above mentioned users, rekeying cost, forward and backward secrecy, communication overhead, 1 to N effect etc. motivate the need for designing secure and cost-effective key management schemes for STIN as one of the promising solutions to secure data protection. |
