Brief Description
Description : | This project aims to develop smart healthcare devices for monitoring astronauts' health conditions during various sequences of launch, spaceflight, and landing. It is proposed to develop a wearable health monitoring system to acquire vital physiological signals, such as photoplethysmogram (PPG), oxygen saturation level (SpO2), Electrocardiography (ECG), Blood pressure (BP), Exhaled Breath Analysis, pulse rate, body temperature, etc. The proposed prototype will perform continuous monitoring with medical decision-making capability and an alarm system. The proposed wearable devices can record astronauts' vital signs continuously in a way that does not disturb daily activities or require lots of time or attention, and the astronauts keep their performance high. |
