Executive Summary :

This project aims to explore the graph-theoretic metrics of information navigation and their relation to the identifiability of a functional connectome. The project will evaluate search information, path transitivity, and communicability measures based on different routing models for functional connectomes and verify them against the identifiability of the same connectome. The project's objectives include reviewing state-of-the-art brain navigation models and brain fingerprinting, and using a differential identifiability approach to assess the reliability of information navigation in the functional connectome. The expected outcome is to understand the extent to which information navigation contributes to the uniqueness of functional connectomes and evaluate its impact on neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer's. The methodology involves collecting data, preprocessing, and parcelling into ROIs, calculating functional connectomes for test and retest, constructing an identifiability matrix, calculating information navigation metrics, and comparing differential identifiability scores to infer the role of information navigation.
