ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region has been promoting and conducting research, extension and human resource development activities in agriculture and allied sectors for the hilly and mountain ecosystem of the North Eastern Hill Region. The mandate of the institute is to improve crops, horticulture, livestock and fishery and to impart training for the development of local competence for efficient management of resources.
