Executive Summary :

The Prasansa Foundation aims to develop activities of interest to women inventors, encourage cooperation among them, highlight the creative power of women, and motivate them to participate in science and technology fields. The foundation will provide a platform for women inventors to showcase their innovations across the country, including deliberations, displaying innovations, collecting abstracts, and publishing popular science lectures. The organization will engage with local population groups to develop capacity for critical thinking. The project schedule includes national and international events, such as the Innovation and New Technologies Exhibition, New Products and Invention Fair, and related festivals. The foundation has a board of experts who will assist women innovators and inventors in overcoming challenges by providing consultations on diverse aspects of invention. The Exposition of Women Inventors and its outreach for sustainability offers an opportunity for women from science-based institutions, universities, laboratories, and NGOs to display their talents and technologies. Meanwhile, the foundation will organize online presentations, select 100 women inventors for participation in the National event of Exposition of Women Inventors and its Outreach for Sustainability Hybrid Mode in September 2022, and conduct mentoring sessions for those shortlisted. The best ten women innovation will also be screened for participation in IIIF 2022 in India. Monitoring, evaluation, and lesson learning planning will be done with the help of a Planning Committee, which will be informed at all stages of the project's implementation. The organization will ask nominations from target groups directly or through their institutions, and the Foundation will provide infrastructural support, administer the project fund, and find logistics for the event. The Project Coordinator will orchestrate the project and select outstanding scientists to interact with women innovators. The Prasansa Foundation has been actively involved in organizing the CSC program at different levels since 2018, and has organized training and workshops on Pedagogy in Life Science in collaboration with the Directorate of Education.
