Executive Summary : | Objective: To study the role of full-length Tau oligomers in vitro (preparation and stabilization of oligomers) .Differential pattern of internalization and processing of pathological Tau species, Oligomers, fibrils and phosphorylated monomer by various biochemical and cell biological approach. To study the molecular mechanisms of microglial internalization induced by Tau protein? . To study the microglial activation by engulfed Tau oligomers and also Microglia phagocytosed hTau4O" oligomers by modulating actin network. To study the global expression profiling upon tau exposure in microglia .Elucidation of immune status in Tauopathy using Astro-glial model system. |
