Brief Description
Description : | The project aims at optimisation of membrane materials for potable water production from wastewater as well as for separation of CO2. The fabrication of superhydrophobic and omniphobic membranes by hybrid electrospinning/electrospray technology and conventional phase inversion will also be Carried out.The project aims at Surface tailoring of FO membranes to bring superhydrophilicity features. The Optimisation of FO-MD process based on operational conditions by mimicking the space environment will also be carried out .Also the project will involve fabrication of highly selective membrane to separate CO2 efficiently under low partial pressure. The role of water partial pressure or humidity will also be studied . |
