Brief Description
Description : | The objective of this project is to carryout design optimization using numerical simulations for a selected SCRAM jet (Supersonic Combustion RAM jet) vehicle design which will be validated through experiments/flight tests. The optimizations will focus on efficiency of mixing of fuel and air, ignition delay and ignition location, wall heat transfer, wall static pressure, combustion efficiency, thrust and other relevant parameters. A thorough comparison of various injection methods will be done for the relevant SCRAM vehicle design. |
