Brief Description
Description : | Demand for natural dyes in Textile, Food and Pharmaceutical industry has been increasing gradually for replacing synthetic dyes. Most of the presently used synthetic dyes are carcinogenic in nature, still they are used in Food, Pharmaceutical and Textile industries. CSIR-NEIST has developed a process for production of natural dyes with a purity of 99%. The process involves use of indigenously developed membrane and a green solvent. |
