Description : | Pre-treatments of the freshly cut French beans with 100 ppm available chlorine in the form of sodium hypochlorite and packaging using suitable semi permeable films of different gas and vapour permeability were used to obtain a equilibrium modified atmosphere of 12-14% oxygen and 5-6% carbondioxidewith a shelf life of 9-10 days. |
