Executive Summary : | The Women Entrepreneurship Development Programme (WEDP) is a structured training program for ST graduates and diploma holders to help them start and manage an economic activity or enterprise. The program consists of four weeks of training, with 25-30 participants selected through tests and interviews. The training covers various topics such as entrepreneurship, project selection, consolidation of business ideas, motivation, business plan preparation, management inputs, and exploring new enterprise financial opportunities. The Technology Based Entrepreneurship Development Programme (TEDP) focuses on specific technology areas and provides hands-on training in these areas. The Faculty Entrepreneurship Development Programme (FEDP) aims to equip teachers and trainers with skills and knowledge to guide and motivate young ST persons to pursue entrepreneurship as a career choice. |
