Executive Summary :

In the current scenario, the economic and environmental consequences need to be considered since the possibility of avoiding overlapping during any wetland operations (such as puddling, weeding, spraying) can significantly reduce the quantity of inputs and increase the working capacity, thus leading to a better environmental and economic sustainability. To get the full advantage of farm mechanization, it is extremely important to utilize reliable weeder, puddler and sprayer in a solar-powered autonomous vehicle, which will decrease drudgery and cost of operation. The wetland operations viz., puddling, weeding and spraying are achieved through unmanned vehicle power by solar energy. The weeding operation can be achieved by attaching the 3-row weeder to the automatic cart by using a detachable mechanism. When the automatic vehicle moves and the external motor functions, the weeding operation can be achieved. Puddling operation can be achieved like the weeding operation. The puddling detachable part has to be engaged with the automatic cart and corresponding automatic puddling operation can be achieved. An external pump has to be attached to the motor for operating the boom sprayer pesticide application.
