US8697916: Process for the preparation of Cu--Cr oxides for selective oxidation reactions

The invention provides a process for the preparation of Cu--Cr oxides by hydrothermal synthesis method using hydrazine as a reducing agent and cetyltrimethylammonium bromide as a surfactant and these oxides are very active for selective oxidation of benzene, toluene and ethylbenzene to produce phenol, benzaldehyde and acetophenone, respectively.
