Executive Summary : | Objective: By using a dense GPS array to measure crustal deformation along a >3000 km long north-south transect on the Indian plate, we propose to provide tight constraints on India plate motion, its accommodation in the plate interior and plate boundary regions, rate and mode of crustal deformation across various tectonic/geologic domains/units and seismogenic potential of these units. |
