Executive Summary :

The project aims to improve operational stability of perovskite solar cells through charge transport material innovation and interfacial engineering. It involves rational design and synthesis of new Charge Transport Materials (CTMs), comprehensive characterization, fabrication of CTLs and interfaces, and high efficiency and long-term stability using novel CTLs. The project also aims to establish long-term collaboration among four research groups and promote scientific, education, and cultural exchange among Russia, China, and India.

The study aims to characterize designed CTL materials and CTL/perovskite interfaces to determine their suitability for perovskite solar cells. The team will probe the electronic structures of the materials, including work function, HOMO and LUMO, and energy level alignment at the perovskite/CTL interface using photoelectron spectroscopy. The goal is to identify energy barriers for charge extraction/injection and to improve the operational stability of perovskite solar cells. The study will also explore surface properties, film formation properties, and possible chemical interactions between CTLs and perovskite. The project aims to improve the stability of perovskite solar cells by analyzing the fundamental properties of the materials and identifying relationships between material structure and device performance and stability.
