Executive Summary :

This project aims to utilize nature-inspired and biocompatible materials systems in the fabrication of electronic components, such as transistors, capacitors, and memory devices, to enhance sustainability for Information and Communication Technology (ICT). High-performance organic transistors, capacitors, and electrochemical transistors will be demonstrated as key circuit and sensing devices for applications such as monitoring physiological parameters and low-cost real-time health monitoring. The project aims to develop materials and processing technologies for organic devices for green and sustainable electronics, focusing on multifunctional organic devices, specifically transistors and capacitors. The fabrication processes will be optimized for low-voltage operation and high electromechanical stability, allowing for the design of multifunctional systems. Devices will be fabricated on biocompatible substrates like paper and textile, suitable for green electronics. The project aims to demonstrate high-performance biodegradable electronic devices for sustainable ICT that can be deployed without environmental concerns. The project will help enable higher collaborations between Indian and Korean scientists, benefiting the RD ecosystem for both countries.
