Executive Summary : | The project aims to improve infrastructure facilities, lighting systems, community centers, self-employment, and women empowerment in tribal areas in Palamalai. Solar-powered lighting systems and electric vehicles will help increase enrolment of children in schools, improve literacy levels, and ensure equal participation of girls in education. Community centers will involve tribal people in decision-making processes, allowing them to convert their resources into market products. The project also aims to ensure self-employment and women empowerment by establishing daily farming units, tailoring units, and millet product production units for tribal women. The project also proposes an Industry Hub powered by a hybrid wind solar plant, promoting self-employment and self-reliance. The project also focuses on promoting livelihood opportunities, energy autonomy, skills development, education, and literacy. The clean energy system will generate community development funds for education, healthcare, infrastructure development, and cultural preservation. Regular monitoring and maintenance programs will ensure the long-term reliability of the infrastructure. |
