Executive Summary :

The project aims to educate and popularize science in Nagaland by promoting the application of existing knowledge in new ways and imparting innovative technologies. The council organizes National Science Day and National Mathematics Day to target students and the community, disseminating the importance of science in daily life and encouraging intelligent debate on development issues. Activities proposed include quiz competitions, extempore, presentations, model competitions, science and math exhibitions, lectures, and popular talks.

The project aims to create excitement about advances in science and technology, encourage intelligent debate on development issues, and improve the quality of life at various levels. The council believes that science is a human invention, evolved by natural selection, and that popularizing science can improve the quality of life at various levels. The target groups for the project include school students from various sections of society and the general community. The approach involves conducting programs in institutes, universities, and departments, with resource persons specialized in their field or subject.
