Executive Summary : | At MLR Institute of Technology, gaps in understanding basic science and mathematics were identified during the induction program for B.Tech students. A study revealed that students often view science applications from an exam and job-availability perspective, leading to a loss of interest. The induction program highlights the need to address these issues at the high school level. The sudden shift to online education, particularly in countries like India, has increased the problem. The survey found high general interest in ST and a preference for student-centered teaching methods. To stay connected with young people's practices, interactive applications and supplementary classroom technology should be developed. |
