Executive Summary :

The objectives of this initiative are to enhance women artisans' skills in traditional textile processes, such as weaving, dyeing, embroidery, and block printing, through training programs and workshops. This will help them gain market access and create long-term employment opportunities. The initiative also aims to build their skills in areas such as financial literacy, entrepreneurship, marketing, and product development. It also aims to address social and cultural barriers that prevent women from entering the textile industry. The initiative also encourages design innovation, blending traditional techniques with contemporary designs to appeal to a wider customer base. The initiative also addresses technology gaps, such as limited access to modern tools and equipment, lack of digital literacy, and insufficient infrastructure for connectivity. The initiative also aims to create online marketplaces and platforms tailored for artisanal products, and organize workshops and training programs focused on digital design tools and techniques.
