Executive Summary :

The parameters that are required to predict the thunderstorms are enormously complex and the prediction using all these parameters is enormous even for a short period. Soft computing is an innovative approach to construct computationally intelligent systems that are supposed to possess humanlike expertise within a specific domain, adapt themselves and learn to do better in changing environments, and explain how they make decisions. In that manner ANFIS processing is a good solution from radar images to predict the accurate models. This prediction models will able to ingest Doppler radar, Satellite data using various soft computing tools and techniques (ANFIS, Machine language, 2nd Generation wavelet neural network and Image processing). The proposed mesoscale thunderstorm model will identify when and where the severe thunderstorm will occur. This alert will be of much use to the society to save life and property.
